スペイン・トレドに受け継がれるダマスクス装飾を、扇形のオーナメントとして仕立てた “Mireia”。
鉄地に金を一本ずつ打ち込み、植物や鳥の文様を描く金象嵌の技法。
量産では再現できない線の密度とわずかな揺らぎが、扇の曲線に沿って丁寧に施されています。
強い輝きではなく、光の角度によってやわらかく浮かび上がる金の線。
近づいたときにこそ伝わる細部の美しさが、このオーナメントの価値の理由です。
サイズは縦約5cm、横約9cmと小ぶり。

Mireia is a fan-shaped ornament crafted using traditional Spanish damascene artistry from Toledo.
Gold is carefully inlaid into iron, line by line, creating floral and bird motifs along the curved silhouette.
The density of the pattern cannot be reproduced through mass production.
Rather than offering bold shine,
soft gold lines emerge quietly as the light changes.
It is in close view that the craftsmanship becomes fully visible ? and this defines its value.
Measuring approximately 5 cm by 9 cm, it is intentionally compact.
