Dating from the 1950s–1980s and sourced in Italy, this vintage silver-toned médaille carries a soft patina shaped by time — the kind that only comes from being handled, kept close, and passed on.
The Guardian Angel is not a single saint, but the presence believed to walk beside each person throughout their life. On this médaille, a winged angel stands with two small children — not watching from a distance, but present. That distinction lives quietly in the composition.
The oval relief shifts with the light, catching shadow in the folds of the angel's robe and the children's figures. Light to wear, easy to forget you have it on — which may be the point.
The medal rests on a new 925 silver chain (approx. 45cm), sitting naturally at the collarbone. It pairs effortlessly with knitwear, crisp shirts, or minimalist tailoring.
