Seiko LUCENT Tonneau-Case Roman Numeral Navy Leather Watch

A small watch that completes itself on the wrist. From Seiko’s “LUCENT” ladies line, a quartz piece housed in a slender tonneau-shaped case.

The case is vertical, softly barrelled. A gold bezel meets silver-toned sides — two finishes side by side within a 19mm frame. The warmth of gold and the calm of silver, brought into the same small object.

The dial is white, with a subtle raised inner panel. Around its edge, gold Roman numerals trace the hours. The SEIKO logo sits above, with LUCENT quietly placed below. Gold hands complete the composition — the whole dial reads like a small, considered drawing.

The watch comes on a deep navy leather strap, stitched in blue, tempering the gold of the case. The colour shifts subtly between blue and green in different light — a strap with quiet depth.

A piece for ordinary days. Beneath a shirt cuff, with a sweater sleeve, through the seasons.
