Vintage Gucci 2400S Silver Bangle Watch

A minimal bangle watch born of late-1990s Gucci — the 2400S. A small, vertically set dial rests quietly within a slim silver bangle, in a design that barely announces itself as a watch at all. This is a piece that lives on the border between jewellery and timekeeping.

The case and bangle are silver-tone stainless steel, finished with a calm brushed texture throughout. The elongated dial carries no markers — only two slender hands. Stripped of ornament to its very limit, the form holds the taut, disciplined beauty that defined Gucci in this era.

At about 1.4cm wide, the bangle reads on the wrist as a piece of silver jewellery rather than a watch. Its flat metal surfaces return the light in clean, straight lines, lending a quietly intelligent presence at the cuff.
