Vintage Pearl Drop and Crystal Earrings

Earrings with a silver arched frame set with small crystals along its length, a single rounded pearl swaying just below. The crystalline brightness above and the softer lustre of the pearl below — two materials of different character meeting along a vertical line, in the kind of considered composition that signals true vintage design.

The upper frame is shaped as a slim, gently curved arch, made to follow the line of the ear. Across that narrow band, round-cut crystals are set at regular intervals, each one flashing in turn as the light catches them. The silver of the frame is polished to a mirror finish, receiving the clear brilliance of the crystals at a temperature that never feels cold. The pearl swaying below carries a full, rounded form, holding a soft light closer to the temperature of skin — a quiet contrast to the harder shimmer above. The "flash" of the crystal and the "glow" of the pearl, two kinds of light arranged along a single line, make a small vertical scene at the ear.

The clasps are clip style, so they can be worn easily by those without pierced ears.
