Vintage Gucci 4600L Watch

A slender rectangular watch from Gucci, its case and bracelet rendered entirely in stainless steel. The 4600L is one of the house’s quietest designs — no ornament, no signature hardware, only proportion. Worn on the wrist, it reads less like a timepiece and more like a bracelet that happens to tell the time.

The black dial is pared down to two bar indexes and the Gucci name, framed by a polished bezel that catches light along its narrow edges. The brushed steel bracelet tapers seamlessly from the case, closing with a double-folding clasp so the line around the wrist stays unbroken.

Swiss made, with a quartz movement confirmed running. The steel has the cool, substantial feel particular to Gucci’s watchmaking of this era — compact, but with a definite presence in the hand.

It sits well alone, and just as well layered with a fine chain bracelet. A piece for someone who prefers their steel quiet.

Condition: Good vintage condition. The glass is free of scratches. Light surface scratches on the case and bracelet, with faint marks on the bezel and slight discolouration on the hands. Tested and confirmed running at the time of dispatch. As a vintage quartz watch, the battery may shift out of position during transit due to vibration, causing the watch to pause temporarily. In most cases, reseating the battery will restore function. Please purchase only if you are comfortable with the characteristics of vintage timepieces.
