Introduced in 1996, the Tank Française brought a new answer to the Tank lineage: the integrated bracelet. Its links flow seamlessly from the case — a design said to be inspired by tank treads — so the watch sits on the wrist less as a timepiece than as a single, sculpted piece of jewellery.

This is the small model with the pink shell dial. The mother-of-pearl surface shifts with the light, from pale cherry blossom to pearl white, showing a slightly different face every time you glance at it. Roman numerals, blued-steel sword hands, and a pink cabochon set into the octagonal crown — a soft warmth the standard white dial doesn’t have.

The stainless steel bracelet alternates polished and brushed surfaces, moving supplely with the wrist. Steel keeps the pink shell from ever feeling too sweet — a balance that carries easily from the office to the weekend.

Produced around 2008, this piece comes with its guarantee card (dated 20 January 2008) and box. The exterior has been professionally refinished, and the watch is in very clean condition overall.
