Cartier Must de Cartier Colisée SM 690002 (Sterling Silver 925 / White Dial)

A small circle on the wrist. The Colisée is the round-cased ladies’ model within the Must de Cartier line. The godron beading where the lugs meet the case lends a quiet flourish to its compact round form. It doesn’t speak loudly, yet it draws the wrist together with certainty.

The Must de Cartier line was born in the 1970s to bring the Cartier world a little closer. This piece has a sterling silver 925 case — light on the wrist, with the presence of jewellery. A blue cabochon crown, Roman numerals, slender blue hands: Cartier’s traditional codes, alive within a small circle.

The silver case holds a soft, unpolished tone — nothing flashy. Its rounded shape settles gently against the wrist. Blue hands reach across the white dial, moving quietly in the light. A quartz lightness, with the density only a vintage piece carries.

The small circle settles naturally at the cuff of a shirt or the edge of a knit. It doesn’t overstate itself, yet it holds a clear sense of grace. It belongs at a considered occasion and on an ordinary day alike.

This is a vintage piece. The case carries the marks of time — surface wear and fine scratches. It isn’t new, and doesn’t pretend to be.
