This piece was designed by Barrera as part of the Barrera for Avon collection. Barrera was a highly regarded American jewellery designer active primarily through the 1980s and 1990s, known for sculptural forms, dimensional construction, and a commitment to maintaining design integrity even within large-scale production.

In his collaboration with Avon, that design philosophy was carried through without compromise.
