There was a quiet gravity to this Saint Peregrine médaille — something that invited touch rather than attention.
Discovered at a small church fair in northern Australia, it felt as though it had absorbed years of whispered prayers.
Dating from the 1950s–1980s and sourced in Italy, this vintage silver-toned medal carries a soft patina shaped by time — calm, restrained, and enduring.
Saint Peregrine is traditionally regarded as the patron saint of those facing serious illness. Having endured great suffering himself and, according to tradition, experienced miraculous healing, he became a symbol of steadfast faith in times of uncertainty.
This piece does not promise miracles.
It offers presence.
A small, steady reminder during moments when the path feels uncertain.
Modest in scale yet grounding in presence, the medal rests on a new 925 silver chain (approx. 45cm), designed to sit naturally at the collarbone. Easy to wear alone or layered.
Each vintage médaille varies slightly in facial detail and background — reflecting its devotional origins and the individuality of pieces once carried by hand.
A quiet companion.
A vintage piece that brings calm resilience into everyday life.
