A small piece of jewellery for the wrist. From Seiko’s casual line “ALBA”, a dress watch carried on a delicate, decorative bracelet.

The case is a vertical oval, just 18mm. Inside this small frame, everything has been considered. The dial in champagne white holds four tiny stones at twelve o’clock, scattered like small diamonds, with quiet dot indexes and fine gold hands marking the hours. The “ALBA QUARTZ” name is small and unintrusive, leaving the composition of the dial to breathe.

The bracelet is where the piece becomes jewellery. Silver links are touched with gold accents, and at intervals along the design, small sapphire-blue stones are set into the metal. In light, the gold and blue answer one another — a small constellation along the wrist. A safety chain completes the construction.
