A two-tone necklace, with slim silver bars and small gold pieces set in alternating sequence. The straight lines of the silver and the rounded forms of the gold meet in a steady rhythm, lending a quiet cadence to the neckline.

What makes this necklace particular is the way two metals resonate within a single piece. The silver parts are straight cylindrical bars; the gold parts are small beads and short cylinders — each shaped differently, so that what runs along the chain is not simply two colours but a built-in rhythm of forms. The cool sheen of silver and the warmer light of gold meet the eye in turn, creating a sense of cadence and dimension that a single-toned necklace cannot offer. At the centre sits a slightly larger silver bead, drawing the whole composition into a clear point of balance.
