A small museum, resting in the palm of your hand.
The Golden Lily design, reimagined in a compact, hand-held form. Woven into tapestry fabric, lilies and winding foliage meet a gold double-clasp frame, creating the presence of a small antique jewel box.
The design was created by J. H. Dearle, who trained under William Morris and later became chief designer at Morris & Co. Carrying forward his mentor’s philosophy, Dearle’s interpretation feels lighter—more open, with a quiet sense of modernity. Pastel threads intertwine softly, revealing new layers of depth the longer you look.
Inside, the purse is divided into two compartments, allowing you to keep coins, keys, lip items, and other small essentials neatly arranged. Tucked into your bag, it brings a small lift of mood each time you reach for it—an object both practical and quietly beautiful.
The language of lilies
In Victorian England, lilies conveyed the message, “You are loved,” and symbolized pure and sincere affection. In earlier times, they were worn by brides in ancient Greece and Rome—flowers carrying wishes for a life both pure and abundant.
