Infant of Prague

This vintage medaille features the Infant of Prague — the crowned Child Jesus.

The inscription reads “Infant of Prague.”
Though depicted as a child, the figure carries royal symbolism and quiet authority.

Crafted in Italy between the 1950s and 1980s,
this vertical oval medal measures approximately 3cm in height and 2cm in width.

The sculpted relief shows fine detail in the robes and crown.
The surface has a soft matte silver tone that enhances the depth of the carving.

The reverse is marked “ITALY” and features a raised heart motif framed by decorative elements reminiscent of a crown and thorns.

Both sides hold symbolic weight —
not ornamental, but structural and intentional.

Paired with a new 925 sterling silver chain (approx. 45cm),
it rests naturally along the collarbone and layers effortlessly with everyday styling.
