A brooch from Bill Skinner, designed in their Kent studio. Inspired by the fairy tale of the Princess and the Pea, the peapod form is rendered in hand-painted enamel and costume pearl on a 14ct gold-plated brass base. The green of the leaves, the soft white of the flower, and the warm gold of the setting come together in a piece that feels genuinely considered — small in scale, but full of character.

25mm wide, 55mm long, 9g. The kind of brooch you pin to a jacket lapel, a blouse, or a bag and let speak for itself. Quietly story-led, without being precious about it.
