Vintage Gold Fringe Long Drop Post Earrings

Vintage long-tassel earrings, with rhinestones at the top giving way to multiple fine gold chains cascading downward. They hang from ear toward upper chest — a piece with real dramatic presence.

What makes these earrings particular is the integration of two very different elements — rhinestone above and chain tassel below — within a single form. The top is built on an 18KGP (18-karat gold-plated) base, set with rhinestones in close formation. The 18KGP carries a depth quite different from ordinary modern plating — a richer, warmer yellow tone, softened further by the years. The clear flash of the rhinestones meets the warmth of the gold for a balanced light, neither cold nor saccharine.

Below, multiple thin gold chains hang as a tassel (or fringe). Each chain swings independently, so as you move — turning your head, walking — they catch light in slightly different rhythms, in constant variation. That ceaseless interplay of light and movement is what defines a vintage tassel earring. Small gold tips finish the ends of each chain, lending weight and a clean line as they sway.
