Australia is renowned for its opals. During my time sourcing vintage jewellery there, I hoped to encounter a truly exceptional vintage opal to introduce to our customers in Japan. Months passed without one — until I discovered this remarkable stock resting in an Australian warehouse for 30–40 years, preserved in beautiful condition.
The warm depth of the gold complements the luminous rainbow glow of the white opal, which reveals delicate flashes with every shift of light.
As October’s birthstone, this feels like a meaningful moment to present these pieces.
