Petit point is a traditional embroidery technique developed in 18th-century Vienna. Meaning "little stitch," this intricate method can reach between 900 and 3,500 stitches within just 2.5 square centimetres. Layers of fine coloured threads create painterly depth and harmonious tones, resulting in miniature textile artworks.

Maria Stransky, established in 1932, is a long-standing Viennese house dedicated to preserving and evolving the art of petit point jewellery. Each piece continues to be crafted in their Vienna atelier, honouring decades of artisanal heritage.

This ring features a classical rose motif delicately rendered through this meticulous technique. The refined composition balances romance and elegance. The frame and shank are crafted from sterling silver 925 and coated in deep-toned 18K gold plating, enhancing the richness of the embroidery and lending a subtle vintage-inspired warmth.
