Vintage 2-Way Cluster Earrings
One pair, two ways to wear it.
Start with the hoop — a smooth gold ring, quietly shaped, the kind of form that has never needed explaining. Then look at what hangs from it: a small gathering of beads, close together, catching light from several directions at once. And here's the lovely part — that cluster lifts off. Wear the hoops on their own, or clip the beads back on, and the same pair becomes something else entirely.
Someone at the bench thought this through. Not many pieces from this period were built to be two things, and it takes real extra work to make one that is.
The cluster rewards a close look. Each bead sits on its own length of wire, and each wire ends in a small loop turned closed by hand, so every bead swings on its own. Nothing glued, nothing cast in a single piece. And the beads all differ from one another, which is where the charm of it lives — a smooth gold bead beside a faceted one, a deeper gunmetal that cools the whole cluster down, and one small pink bead, faceted, lighting up in a way metal never quite does. Warm and cool metals worn together: through the 1970s and 80s that was a designer's choice, made deliberately.
They weigh 1g for the pair. On a cushioned clip, that means you can put them on in the morning and forget they're there — and no piercing is needed.
At 2.5cm the cluster falls just below the hoop, and it moves whenever you do. You'll catch sight of yourself in a shop window and find it swinging.
Some days the hoop alone will feel right, clean against the jaw. Other days you'll want the beads. There's a real pleasure in owning something that lets you change your mind.

Turning
Leaves turn. The light goes low and amber. Nothing announces itself — you simply notice, one morning, that the air has changed.
Turning is the autumn chapter of Passage. Four days, four quiet scenes from the weeks when summer lets go, and sixteen pieces drawn from the colours and the air of that shift.
Nothing here is dressed for the season. Some pieces are ornate, some almost plain. They were simply waiting when the light changed, held until now by hands we'll never know.
However you move through these days, we hope something here finds its way to you.
