1952 OMEGA Cal.244 Gold-Plated Square Vintage Watch
A delicate OMEGA ladies’ watch dating to 1952.
The petite square case is paired with a silver-tone dial and gold-tone hour markers, creating the feeling of a piece of vintage jewellery rather than a conventional wristwatch.
Sculptural decorative elements extend from the top and bottom of the case into the slender bracelet, giving the entire watch a beautifully integrated, jewellery-like appearance.
The dial features a combination of triangular and baton hour markers with the OMEGA signature at the centre.
Its small proportions and architectural square case are characteristic of mid-century ladies’ watch design, yet remain very easy to wear today.
Paired with a crisp white shirt or simple knitwear, it adds a quiet vintage accent to the wrist.
It also works beautifully alongside delicate gold bracelets and rings.

The case and bracelet show fine surface marks, areas of discoloration and wear to the gold plating consistent with age.
The dial shows visible ageing, including spotting and tonal changes, and the crystal has light surface scratches.
These are visible in the photographs and form part of the natural character of this vintage piece.
At more than 70 years old, the watch retains a genuine sense of its history.
It is not in new or uniform condition, and we recommend viewing these signs of age as part of its vintage character.
