Seiko Quartz Octagonal-Case Gold Bracelet Watch

A small celebration on the wrist — a Seiko ladies quartz watch, the 20mm octagonal case rendered entirely in gold.

The case is eight-sided. Each angle catches the light differently, and the form shifts subtly as the wrist moves. The dial is champagne gold, kept simple — slim stick indexes, fine gold hands, the SEIKO QUARTZ name centred, and a small Seiko mark at six o’clock. The reduced composition lets the geometry of the case do the speaking.

The bracelet extends from the case lugs in sculpted vertical ribs, then transitions into a fine gold mesh that follows the wrist. Bangle and chain at once — firm and soft together. The ribbed sections and the mesh return the light in different ways, giving small variation along the wrist.

A piece of jewellery, and a watch — held together within one small octagonal frame.

A piece for formal dressing, or beneath a white blouse cuff in everyday wear. Through the seasons.
