Founded in Los Angeles in 1968, 1928 Jewelry takes its name as an
homage to the golden age of antique jewelry.

For over half a century, their designers have continued to visit
antique shops and estate sales in search of original Victorian,
Art Deco, and Art Nouveau pieces — studying each design before
recreating it through time-honored techniques, from stone setting
to hand enameling.

The fan was once a language.

In Victorian society, the way a woman held her fan —
the angle, the gesture, the speed of the fold —
carried meaning that words could not safely carry
in polite company.

This pendant wears that history.

A fan-shaped pendant in 14K gold-dipped filigree,
set with peridot green and light rose pink crystals
that transition across the surface like a garden in bloom.
Aurora borealis crystals catch the light unpredictably,
shifting between colour and clarity.
Rows of faux pearls line the base of the fan,
grounding the piece in quiet elegance.

From the lower point, a delicate drop ensemble —
a pearl, a peridot crystal, and a small flower
accented with rose pink — adds gentle movement
with every step.

The chain measures 16 inches (approx. 40cm),
sitting just below the collarbone.
It pairs beautifully with open-collar shirts,
silk blouses, or anything that gives the pendant
room to speak.
